1 tsp cinnamon
1 tbsp ground ginger
1 tsp baking powder
1 tsp baking soda
250 g flour
- Preheat oven to 180 degrees celcius.
- Cream together butter and sugar until pale and creamy. Add egg, syrup and spices and mix well.
- Stir in remaining ingredients.
- Place teaspoonfuls onto greased tray, flatten and bake for 10-12 minutes (watch after ten as they cook pretty quick). Allow room for spreading.
- Remove onto cooling rack - they crisp up once cool. Yum!! Makes about 35 or so biscuits.
